Overdosage or too rapid admin can cause metabolic alkalosis (especially in renal impairment). |

Interactions |
May increase T½ of basic drugs like quinidine, amphetamines, ephedrine and pseudoephedrine. Reduces nephrotoxicity caused by methotrexate. Enhances elimination of salicylates and barbiturates. |
